The Groom's Story
Yo creci en el noreste de Ohio, en un area rural del condado Portage, y fui de un nino que jugaba con carritos con su hermano a un estudiante en la escuela secundaria Walsh Jesuit.
Unos anos despues, en la universidad, decidi que la Aplicacion de Leyes era lo que queria perseguir y entre a la academia de policia. Continue en esa linea de trabajo hasta llegar a una posicion como Oficial de Policia en Cleveland.
A traves de reflexion y meditacion profunda, descubri que queria mas en mi vida que el saber que todo podia desaparecer en un dia. Queria una persona para compartir momentos especiales de mi vida, una familia y no queria que ellos tuvieran que preocuparse igual que yo. Yo mismo no podia llevar mas esa carga.
Entonces es cuando me di cuenta que la aplicacion de leyes no era para mi y decidi volver a la universidad en busqueda de metas mas altas.
En mi paso encontre el Amor de mi Vida, Ida y la persuadi de ser mia. Ella acepto graciosamente y descendio de los cielos para estar a mi lado.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio, in a rural area of Portage county, and transitioned from a boy playing with hotwheel cars with his brother to a student at Walsh Jesuit High School.
A few years of college after that, I decided that Law Enforcement was what I wanted to pursue and entered the police academy. I continued along that line until arriving at a position as a Police Officer in Cleveland.
Through reflection and deep soul searching, I realized I wanted more in my life than just the thought of how it could be taken from me any day. I wanted a significant person to share special moments of my life with, a family, and I did not want them to have that on their mind. I surely could not bear it myself.
That's when I figured that law enforcement was not for me and decided to go back to school in pursuit of loftier goals.
Along my path I encountered the Love of my Life, Ida and persuaded her to be mine. She graciously agreed and descended from the heavens to be at my side.
