About the Day

Hemos encontrado (finalmente!) el lugar perfecto en Republica Dominicana, el pais natal de Ida! Esta en la Costa Norte, frente al Oceano Atlantico, en la ciudad de Puerto Plata (no en Cabrera).

La Ceremonia de Bodas y la Recepcion daran lugar en Club Hotel Riu Bachata, un Resort Turistico, que tambien servira de alojamiento a la pareja y a los invitados.

El Riu Bachata es "Todo Incluido" y es el mas grande y nuevo hotel en el creciente Complejo de Resorts Riu. Esta localizado a lo largo de la Costa Ambar, y adyacente al area de deportes acuaticos del resort en la espectacular Bahia Maimon, Puerto Plata.

Esperamos verlos a todos alli, aunque entendemos que viajar fuera es pedir demasiado. Si no pueden asistir, entendemos que estaran alli en espiritu, y nosotros damos gracias de tenerlos en nuestras vidas...

We have found (finally!) the perfect location in Dominican Republic, Ida's home country! It is in the North Coast, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in the town of Puerto Plata (not in Cabrera).

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be held at Club Hotel Riu Bachata, a Touristic Resort, which also will serve as the couple's and guests 'home away from home'.

The all-inclusive Riu Bachata is the newest and largest hotel in the expansive Riu Resort Complex. It is located along the Amber Coast, and is adjacent to the resort's water-sports area on spectacular Maimon Bay, Puerto Plata.

While we hope to see all of you there, we do understand it is a big request to have families travel abroad. If you cannot make it, we know you will be there in spirit and we are grateful to have you in our lives...
